The 1st Airborne Brigade (Japanese: 第1空挺団, Dai-Ichi Kūtei Dan), also known as the Narashino Airborne Brigade (Japanese: 習志野空挺団), is stationed in the Japan Ground Self Defense Force (JGSDF) Camp Narashino in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture.
Background[]
The Brigade serves as Japan's elite paratrooper unit meant to counter against either guerrillas or enemy special forces units. Currently, they are attached to current homeland defense and international combat operations under the JGSDF's Ground Component Command (Japanese: 陸上総隊) (formerly under the Central Readiness Force).
During their Campaign on the New World, they are being assigned to be working under the Command of the 7th Division led by Ouchida Kazuki.

Rodenius War[]
The 1st Airborne Brigade first saw action in the New World during the Pacification of Jin-Hark when they are teamed up with the SAT (Special Assault Team, Japan's tactical police units) of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police (TMP). They are ordered to capture Lourian King Hark Louria XXXIV on charges of genocide.
New World War[]
They saw action during the Capture of Valkyries Base when they joined the battle by conducting a paradrop aboard the C-2 Transport Aircraft. Base Commander Gaoggel and Crown Prince Gra Cabal said that "Japan is an enemy beyond common sense". Equipped with assault rifles and Kevlar body armor, they easily defeated Gra Valkas Imperial elite soldiers without sustaining casualties, easily capturing the base and Base Commander Gaoggel in the process.
Later, they also participated in the Liberation of Hinomawari Kingdom, as they landed on the north of the Hinomawari capital and proceeds south to the center of the capital. However, by the time they reached the city center, all enemies were destroyed by the accompanying AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopters that sniped the remaining Gra Valkan soldiers.
