Alue is a city in the country of Mu.
Overview[]
Located at the western side of the country of Mu, it is the nearest city east of the former Leifor with a distance about 20 km east of the border. About 200 km east of this city is Mu's Dawson Base and the western end of the Malmuth Mountains.

New World War Arc[]
On June 2, 1643 on the Central Calendar (Earth Year 2019), the Gra Valkas Imperial Army invaded the city and the 4th Armored Division destroyed Mu Army's 24th Task Force. Evacuation instructions were issued prior to the attack. However, some of the residents didn't evacuate and 6,000 died due to the attacks, added to the fact that Alue doesn’t have a railway station and there's insufficient number of trucks for evacuation purposes. Others are convinced that no one's going to attack the mainland of Mu, the second most powerful Superpower.
As the city was occupied by the Gra Valkas Empire, the Imperial Army looted the city, civilians are murdered and the women are raped there. According to Minorou, the murders occurred at a rate of 500 people per month, so almost 20 person are murdered for no reason by the occupying soldiers. These war crimes are conducted with the permission from Gaoggel, Valkyries Base's commander.

There are about 50,000 refugees that had managed to escaped the city prior to the attack but they were pursued by the 4th Armored Division. However, the refugees are saved by the JSDF.
Alue from recaptured at an unspecified point in the war before the World Union initiated the Liberation of Leifor. Likely around the same time as the Capture of Valkyries Base.
Lay-out and Features[]
The city is built on a small hill and called a highland city. It is also once a walled city like Gim and Ejey, but now the city had grown beyond the walls and became useless due to modern warfare and left decaying.
In the light novel version, the city is bordered with the Hinomawari Kingdom.
