Japanese Parpaldia War Arc[]

After refusing to make a national dedication or a loan request from the Parpaldia Empire, with Kaios’ authority from the Third Department, the Parpaldia Empire began to invade on the Fenn Kingdom for punishment. The Sword King Shihan and all his aides decided to meet with the Japanese representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the royal castle in Amanoki.

Japanese envoys established diplomatic relations with them and gave them these gifts along with their greetings, but the Sword King wanted to see Japanese escort ships as a Japan power right off the shore of Amanoki.

A few days later, JMSDF escort ships were dispatched to the shore of Amanoki as both a show of force and to conduct a training exercise for the Military Festival. The Japan's metal warships blew up and sunk the Fenn’s four decommissioned ships which set adrift to be targets by main cannon. The Sword King was stunned and speechless and decided to resume negotiations regarding diplomatic relations with Japan.

After the JMSDF guided missile destroyer Myoukou successfully destroyed four decommissioned ships, Parpaldia's 20 wyvern lord knights invaded the airspace over Amanoki. They attacked the Fenn Royal Castle, which was destroyed by fire. Japanese Coast Guard ship Inasa quickly shooting down all wyvern lords ending the attack in an instant.

After losing contact with the Wyvern lord unit, the commander of Parpaldia Imperial Oversight Army Eastern Fleet, Admiral Poquetoire ordered the fleet to attack Fenn's capital of Amanoki. When the Oversight Army Eastern Fleet was on their way to Amanoki, they encountered and destroyed the 13 ships of Fenn's Palace Navy with no casualties. However the JMSDF guided missile destroyer Myoukou headed for Amanoki and used its accurate gun to target the masts of their ship-of-the-line immobilizing them, not sink. Parpaldia Imperial Oversight Army’s Eastern Fleet withdrew completely intact.

After the Japan and Fenn Kingdom formed a diplomatic relationship, there were now regular high-speed ferry services that traveled to the capital city Amanoki as well as to a town Nishinomiyako that brought in droves of Japanese tourists for sightseeing. Japanese tourists played around and explored as though peace were eternal. There were nearly 3,000 Japanese tourists staying in Amanoki.

When the Papaldia Empire invaded Nishinomiyako, the Sword King of the capital Amanoki learned the news of the Parpaldia Empire’s attack and Japanese tourist captured by horse riders who were sent out to spread the reports.

After Nishinomiyako massacre, the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force’s Kingdom of Fenn civilian rescue brigade’s 1st battalion were unloading supplies on the eastern coast of Amanoki. This new organization was formed to combat the threat of an enemy that mercilessly slaughtered civilians; they were trained and equipped to be ready for combat at a moment’s notice. The battalion included 330 JGSDF soldiers, 55 trucks, 10 MLRS, 2 Mitsubishi Type 89 IFV, 5 Type 99 155 mm self-propelled howitzers and 10 Type 90 tanks.

The Sword King Shihan was observing the coast. He watched LCAC hovercrafts went back and forth between the shore and the Oosumi-class LSTs. Since these were amphibious vehicles, they could travel both on the sea and up onto the shore, shuttling both personnel and vehicles onto land. The Japanese soldiers kept unloading more and more. These were the people who crushed the Parpaldian Oversight Army’s wyvern lord squadron. Many Fenn citizens gathered to get a glance of them. The people of Fenn had high expectations for Japan. The Japanese troops continued making preparations on the beach for ready to battle against Parpaldia Empire on the Fenn Kingdom.

When Parpaldia Empire lost the majority of the military force to Japan after Esthirant Air Strike and Great Naval Battle of Esthirant, Swordmaster Motam reported to Sword King Shihan in the royal castle of Amanoki. Shihan believed it was impossible for the empire to try to invade his country again. Fenn Kingdom was safe. The empire would be crippled once the rebel armies are through with them. He looked up at the sky. He felt relieved that the Kingdom of Fenn was now secure and decided to place more importance on their diplomatic relations with Japan in the future.
