The Athratates Cannon installed in the Ravernal Empire's Pal Chimera Flying Battleships shares similarities with this 3-Barreled GAU-19 Gatling gun, only that it is enlarged and magic-based.
Athratates Cannon is an anti-aircraft weapon of the Ravernal Empire. It is also known as "Roaring Continuous-Type Anti-Aircraft Light Magic Gun".
Description[]
The induction light magic bullet is built in order to intercept aircrafts. It releases a terrible barrage of light magic bullets having a rate of fire of about 3,000 rounds per minutes. It is equipped with magic conductive magnetic radar (radio wave radar) to automatically checks the position/speed and trajectory of the enemy and fires while correcting the aim. Its performance is similar to the 1st generation Phalanx CIWS.
The gun was thought to be using solid bullets as ammunition, but it was a light shell with mass attribute. When firing, it looks similar to a laser weapon and an energy bullet. Due to the attribute, it was most likely imbued with explosion magic that can destroy an enemy aircraft upon contact, contrary to Gra Valkas Empire's Proximity Fuse.
Pal Chimeras are equipped with a total of six, two each on the top and bottom of the column. It is installed inside a semi-circular surface to reduce air resistance.
The gun has three barrels and are placed far from each other as the barrels cannot withstand the heat of firing magic light bullets and it might melt the gun itself. Most likely, the barrel of the Athratates Cannon are not designed to withstand a prolonged fight. Most likely, the Athratates Cannon is like an enlarged, magical version of the GAU-19 that is used by the Japan Coast Guard in their ships

During the talks with Myrus and his colleagues, he explained that its performance is similar to the Phalanx CIWS of Japan. He also said that Japan is now researching on missiles that can't be detect by radar, showing that Mu has already known Japan is researching stealth technology.
