Black Flame Phoenix

Black Flame Phoenix is huge black flame magic that is used by Demon Lord Nosgorath. It is also called the King of the Flames of Purgatory, Fenghuang.

Description[]

A more powerful spell version of hellfire is used by Demon Lord Nosgorath in which he conjures a black-flamed swallow that attacks and incinerates a group of Topa knights into a cinder. The full incantation of the spell is "Hear my command, in the name of the lord of the demon world. King of the Flames of Purgatory, Fenghuang, by my order, burn these fools who dare stand against me! Demon Lord Hidden Art of Burning Death: Incinerating Black Swallow!!!"

Operation Momotarou[]

Demon Lord, Nosgorath raised its hands at the two hundred Topan knights under northern aristocrat Avon, summoning Black Flame Phoenix. The bird of flame swallowed the Topan knights up in the black flames and turned to ash without leaving a bone.

While powerful, it took a long time to recite the spell. It was revealed that the incantation needed to be spoken in full to cast the spell since Nosgorath was unable to cast the spell after being distracted by the JGSDF Type 91 shoulder-mounted rocket fired at him while chanting the spell.

Manga Version[]

Demon Lord Nosgorath, standing on the shoulder of Ancient Kaiser Golem, unleashed Black Flame Phoenix against the Topan elite mages of the Royal Combat Mage Special Task Force on the wall. They burned up in the black flames and turned to ash.
