Arrow of the Wind God or Rune Arrows are ballista bolts fitted with explosive magic generated by magic gems, which are used to combat wyverns.
Description[]
It is described as magic stone-tipped ballista bolts. The said stones are filled with explosive magic and at the other end of the bolt is fitted with a Tear of the Wind God for faster propulsion and spiral tail or fletching. By rotating the body against the wind, it stabilize itself and extends its range just like a bullet fired from a rifle. These bolts have a range of up to 2 km, as far as a Parpaldian magic cannon can go.
Service History[]
The said arrows were used by the Altaras Kingdom Navy during the Parpaldia Empire’s Invasion of Altaras and managed to hit the Parpaldian Magic Ships-of-the-Line. However, these arrows are easily fend off by the anti-magic steel armor of the Imperial ships. The commander of the Invasion fleet commented that the kingdom just wasted such precious resource that is used for primitive weapons.
