New World War Arc[]

After the destruction of the 2nd Advance Fleet on the Great Naval Invasion of Japan, Commander Mirkenses and Staff Officer Deluncia, who was aboard on 1st Advance Fleet's flagship Valcer, heard the voice from the radar observer in the bridge that 50 JASDF's aircraft was coming to decimate them at the 200km distance. Deluncia spoke to Mirkenses that it was fortunate to be able to detect it at the 200km distance which gave plenty of time to intercept. Horrifically impressed and feared by the previous radar turbulence and the swift destruction of the 2nd Advanced Fleet, Mirkenses recalled the documents on Japanese guided weapons she had read earlier and regretfully began to realize that those documents seemed to be true, not ludicrous propaganda. Deluncia told her that enemies may use guided ammunition which it kept jamming devices distributed in advanced technology laboratories available. She called up a first-class engineer Kandall, who worked at the Advanced Technology Research Institute, for more information about Japanese weapons.

When Kandall arrived in the bridge to meet them, he explained about Japan guided missile technology. His plan used the flares and chaff to distract infrared navigation systems and disturb the missile guidance, metal scraps to jam active radar guidance systems. Deluncia applauded him that he was glad having Kandall, who uses his brain to work with the prototype against Japan.

After the ninety-two Naval Air Corps interceptors fought with 12 JASDF F-15J fighters in the sea area about 100 km east of the fleet and all of them failed except Kura Dirkmy, Mirkenses was waiting for reports from the Naval Air Corps interceptors thru the radio. the trusted staff Deluncia, who stood beside Mirkenses, spoke with plenty of room that he worried little about them. She whispered to Deluncia to avoid other subordinates hearing that she had a feeling of despair that she want to escape from ther duties. She warned him to not tell it to other subordinates. Deluncia thought he had lost quite a few at least in this interception that the Japanese are wary opponents, but the worst assumption of the imperial navy headquarters was no longer science fiction. He expected that the worst assumption was impossible.

A telegraphist picked up the radio and connected the speaker so that the sound of the radio could be heard on the bridge. They heard a faint voice that all interceptors destoryed. Derunsha made a desperate voice that it was bad and stupid. She ordered to prepare for the anti-aircraft combat when the enemy was coming. She called Kandall to take the final defense of the guided bullets.

As the first wave of anti-ship missiles was launched, the 1st Advanced Fleet desperately tried to shoot them down to no avail as the Type 93 anti-ship missiles were too fast for their anti-aircraft batteries and Antares fighters to hit. Deluncia was frightened by the enemy's attacks that exceed all expectations.

As Mirkenses and Deluncia were distraught as their countermeasure they put so much confidence and hope in failed them in the end, the radar of the fleet managed to be back online at full strength and detected a massive wave of 250 missiles heading toward the fleet. This causes Mirkenses and him to sink further into despair. With their anti-missile strategy deemed as worthless, their only choice is to try to desperately shoot down as many missiles as they can, though the task has been proven to be impossible.

However, when the Type-12 Surface-to-Ship missile was sighted heading toward the battleship Valcer, Deluncia and the rest of the officers in the bridge were vaporized by the explosion from the missile impact except Mirkenses, who was thrown into the ocean due to the explosion from the missile opened a part of the bridge.
