Dragonfolk are a race of dragonoids from the New World.
Background[]
During the age of the Ravernal Empire, when the dragon gods still reigned, there was a country called Infidragoon. The Ravernal Empire demanded that the dragon gods send them a number of dragonfolk each year to them for the dragonfolk had strong and beautiful hides. The empire wished to use their hides to be made into satchels.
Outraged at this cruel nature of the winged people, the dragon god resolutely refused this demand. This refusal triggered the Dragon Sorcery War. The war was extremely fierce as the Infidragoon proved to be equal in power to the Ravernal. In the last ditch effort, the Ravernal used its “Core Magic.” and wiped one of Infidragoon’s large cities off the face of the planet as well as killing the Dragon Gods. In the end the dragonfolk deserted the country, fleeing all over the world.
After the Ravernal Empire was transported into the future, the dragonfolk once again gathered to form a country, which became the Emor Kingdom.
Appearance[]
Dragonfolk: males had an average height of 2 meters, females had an average height of 1.75 meters. They had dark skin, but otherwise looked very similar to human beings. However, upon closer inspection, they had very small scales covering their entire bodies. They also had two horns on their heads. Both their eyes and hair were red.
Culture[]
Since dragonfolk was such a powerful magical race, throughout all of history, they never bowed to any power other than the Ancient Sorcerous Empire. However, they treat those who they predict become their beacon of hope (such as Japan), they will treat them with respect. When Japan’s ambassador arrives on the Emor Kingdom, the Emor official welcomes them warmly and treat them with respect. However, it is shown that they still regard the Japanese with skeptical as they don't take Japan seriously in the leadership conference when they didn't reveal the prophecy regarding Japan as a potential savior of the world against the Ravernal Empire in the conference due to the fact that Japan lacks magic.
Despite being seen as a race with powerful magic, Dragonfolk are extremely stick-in-the-mud, cocky, conservative and narrow-minded. For centuries, they continuously look down on humans in the New World, despite being outperformed by human nations with advanced magical and mechanical technology, in this case are the Holy Mirishial Empire and Mu. Furthermore, even though they lost horribly against the Ravernal Empire, the Dragonfolks still not learn their lesson about their failure as their technological level is almost still the same as they used to be thousands year ago, indicating that they have never considered of advancing their technology to combat the Ravernal Empire when they return. This fact also shows that the Dragonfolks somewhat are defeatists who never trying to improve themselves against powerful enemy.
In the ancient time, the Dragonfolks have some animosity toward the Elves as the Elves hunted down dragons in ancient time to protect themselves from the flying lizards.
Abilities[]
Dragonfolk had magical power on the same level as high elves.
Trivia[]
- The Dragonfolks are very much like the Japanese after World War 2 when they suffered the destruction of their kingdom from Core Magic much like the Japanese suffered two nuclear bombs on their two cities. However, unlike the Japanese who learned from the war and developed themselves to become technological powerhouse, the Dragonfolks learn nothing and stay stagnant until now.
