The Emissaries of the Sun God is a mysterious group of warriors that came from another world. They defeated the Demon Lord Nosgorath 10,000 years ago during his first invasion.
Background[]
100 years after the Ancient Sorcerous Empire transferred their civilization to the future, a demon lord suddenly came out of nowhere. Its name was Nosgorath. It came from Grameus Continent, the land of demons, leading a great army and wielding many types of magic. With it were beasts of legend, the Red and Blue Ogres, the White and Yellow Ogres, and an army comprised of various other beasts of lower intelligence. They had come to invade Topa.
The island of Topa, which was just a small village back then, quickly fell, and the Demon Lord’s army next surged into the Philades Continent. There were no countries in Philades back then either, and humanity as a whole was weak. Most of Philades fell into the Demon Lord’s control. His army had terrifying magic at its disposal. They were a blight on the land. They even used seaborne demonic beasts to cross the ocean to Rodenius to fight the elves. The Alliance of the Races struggled in vain, and the Demon Lord’s army invaded the elves’ final bastion, the Sacred Forest, the sanctuary of the elven god. Many valiant warriors were crushed, and the elves’ most talented mages fell in battle.
The elven god, the God of Green, prayed to the God of the Sun, creator of the lower gods. The God of the Sun answered those prayers by sending down the Emissaries of the Sun. The emissaries rode the divine flying ships and cast fearsome sorcery that summoned thunderous lightning that set the ground ablaze, driving off the Demon Lord’s army. The Alliance of the Races then forced the Demon Lord’s army off Rodenius, eventually gong to Philades themselves. The emissaries of the sun used their powerful magic to push the demons out of Philades and what is now the Topa Kingdom, all the way back to Grameus.
After the threat was neutralized, the God of the Sun called the emissaries back from this world. However, one of their divine flying ships broke down and was abandoned in the New World. The said ship is now stored in the holy land of the elves in Lean Nou Forest.
Chronology[]
During the Second Invasion of Nosgorath, the Topa knight Moah noticed that the JSDF Advanced Platoon carries the symbol of the Emissaries, When Nosgorath faces the Type-10 MBT, he also called that the New Worlders had once again called the Emissaries of the Sun God.
During the Battle of Esperanto, the Black Knight Bahara noticed the emblem Shinji Oka was wearing and said that it belongs to the Emissaries of the Sun God. After the battle in the Esperanto Kingdom, Shinji Oka, members of the JSDF and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were invited to a party. One approached Oka and presented the picture of the "Steel Ship" of the Emissaries.
During the research of the Japanese archaeological team in the Lean Nou Forest, the elves Mina and Wol noticed that the helicopter brought by the team bears the emblem of the Sun God. When the Japanese reached the temple, they are astounded that the "Divine Flying Ship" of the Emissaries is none other than a Mitsubishi A6M Zero Type 21.
True Identity of the Emissaries[]
It turns out that the true identities of the Emissaries of the Sun God were the Imperial Japanese Navy Eastern Fleet and Imperial Japanese Army Zeroth Army. On 1919, the Sun God Amaterasu sent a dream to the imperial family at that time to prepare a force that will be sent to the New World. Ships are built in secret and the soldiers that will participate are carefully selected.
On March 29, 1943, the Imperial Japanese Navy Eastern Fleet and Imperial Japanese Army Zeroth Army set sail to the Pacific Ocean and reappeared on the northeastern coast of the Rodenius Continent. Upon recognizing that they've stepped into an another world due to the difference of the horizon and the reports from the reconnaissance planes, the group renamed into the "Another World Fleet" and "Another World Army" to contact the local people.
On August 15th 1945, the Imperial Japanese Navy Eastern Fleet and Imperial Japanese Army Zeroth Army returned from the New World. All those participated in the said war swore that they would never disclose to the public of their mission since no one gonna believe them anyway. All ships and weapons are scrapped.

Trivia[]
- The ship that was in the photo that the Japanese delegation saw was a Kii-Class Fast Battleship. In real life, Japan planned to construct 4 of this ships, but none has realized due to the Washington Naval Treaty. Out of the 4 ships, only 2 received names: Kii and Owari.
