Mages throw fireballs

Lourian mages cast fireballs.

Fireball is a ball of flame or fire that is magic used by mages.

Description[]

A fireball spell is a ball filled with combustibles or explosives, fired at an enemy or enemy fortifications. The speed of the fireballs is 150 km/h, which is equal to the speed of a baseball thrown by a professional pitcher. The spell can be performed continuously but it takes 30 seconds for a mage to recharge their mana after each casting.

It is also said to be comparable to a guided fireball, but since viscous materials cannot be made up, it is thought that this refers to size rather than attack power.

Chronology[]

Pacification of Jin-Hark[]

In the Battle of Jin Haak, Chief Mage Yamirei stood on the top of the inner wall of the royal palace with 100 royal palace mages and intercepted the Japanese flying machines flying wildly over the royal capital.

The sight of the mages lined up in a horizontal line, holding their wands and firing a series of fireballs as powerful as wyverns into the sky was fierce, reminiscent of the towed bullets of an anti-aircraft machine gun.

However, a fireball with a velocity equivalent to a professional baseball player's pitch will not hit a much faster fighter plane, and their interceptions ended in vain.
