Gods are beings that are living in the so-called Upper World.
Background[]
In the past (Mythical Era), the Ravernal Empire tried to supplant the gods and replace them. The gods became angry and sent meteors towards the homeland of the Ravernal Empire, the Latistor Continent. But the Ravernal Empire set a space-time spell that sent them towards the future, thus avoiding destruction.
The gods are the ones that take care of the New World but they are not allowed to interfere with humanity directly. If they do, the interfering god will suffer huge consequences, including losing his/her powers or death. And if the gods of the New World are killed, the New World itself will perish. That is a thing that the Ravernal Empire didn't understand or didn't want to understand.
The Gods can interfere indirectly in the New World but with limitations and some limitedly indirect intervention require terrible price. The best example is that the gods can bestow great power to chosen mortals without suffering any consequences but when Astarte requested Shamash for help to help the Alliance of the Races to beat back the demon lord by summoning the Imperial Japan, she had to sacrifice her name to be erased from the memories of the Elven race.

- Ir - God of Creation - Known and worshipped at Gahara Thearchy as Ame no Minakanushi
- Anu - God of the heavens and the one who judges the dead
- Abzu - God of the underworld, the one who lords over water
- Shamash - The Sun God. She is also called Amaterasu, the divine ancestor of the Japanese people. In 1919, Shamash gave a notice to the Japanese Imperial Family to prepare a force that will be sent to another world.
- Astalte - The Goddess of Fertility. During the Invasion of the Demon Lord Nosgorath in the Rodenius Continent, she asked the Sun God to summon her messengers (Imperial Japanese Army) to destroy the Demon Lord's army. As an exchange, she lost her name and her name has faded to the memories of the people. She is the one that gave the very fertile lands of the Qua-Toyne Principality. Another of her wishes is to see the New World live in peace and solidarity among the races; however, what was happening right now showed it had not come true.

- Some people of the Holy Milishial Empire hypothesized that the gods were responsible for the arrival of transferred nations such as Japan and the Gra Valkas Empire, and while their motives are unknown, it is possible that these countries will be seen as the key to the defeat of the Ravernal Empire in the future.
