Grade Atlastar

Grade Atlastar-Class Battleship is a warship that is being used and operated by the Gra Valkas Empire. It is their largest and strongest warship. This ship is the flagship and symbol of the Gra Valkas Imperial Navy.

The ship was destroyed and captured by the JSDF during the Gra Valkas Empire's disastrously failed invasion on Japan.

Description[]

The battleship is very similar to the Imperial Japanese Navy's Yamato-class battleship in term of armaments and size. Despite this, based on a Japan‘s investigation, this ship (probably the entire Gra-Valkas Navy) seems to be equipped with proximity fuzes along with radar and advanced fire control systems, showing electronic technology resembles the United States at the end of WW2.

Due to its large size and budget, it is currently the only ship of this class.

Although the details of it are unknown, since the ship was almost identical to the final version of the Yamato-class battleships of World War II with some technologies that are not installed on the Yamato-Class Battleships, the specifications below could be considered to be almost correct.

The ship was used to bring Dallas and Deputy Foreign Minister Parguel to the Japanese Embassy on Otaheit.

Great Naval Battle of Japan[]

The ship was used as the flag ship for General Caesar's Main Fleet. A Harpoon Missile destroyed one of the main guns of the ship. Albeit their futile effort to destroy Japan's 4th Escort Flotilla, it was proven unsuccessful as Fleet Admiral Caesar and Captain Luxtal are killed in action and the ship was utterly destroyed by 6 Type-12 anti-ship missiles from Nahanath base while the remaining crew was captured. The wreckage of the ship was later will be repurposed to become the first modern guided-missile battleship of the JMSDF in history.

Some officials within the military, especially the Defense Equipment Agency complain that it was too expensive to remodel the Grade Atlastar and repair the broken parts since it is cheaper to build a new escort ship. However, the government insisted on reconstructing the Grade Atlastar into a guided-missile battleship as a modern and effective weapon of terror to enable Japan to have better standing in the violent and hegemonic environment of the New World. Additionally, due to the lack of JMSDF personnel to crew additional warship, reconstructing Grade Atlastar was necessary along with the concept of making it into an "Arsenal Ship" with Jack-For-All-Trades capability.

Trivia[]

The design shape is similar to the Japanese Battleship Yamato during WW2.
Being stated as the largest and strongest Battlecruiser along with being bragged as the Crown Jewel of the country and invincible is similar to HMS Hood stated by British Royal Navy who later sunk by Germany Battleship, Bismarck.
Its name came from the astronomical term Great Attractor. The Great Attractor is a gravitational anomaly in intergalactic space and the apparent central gravitational point of the Laniakea Supercluster. The observed anomalies suggest a localized concentration of mass thousands of times more massive than the Milky Way.
The Grade Atlastar is much faster than the Yamato with the top speed of 55 km/h while the Yamato's top speed is only 50 km/h.
