The Japanese-Parpaldian War was a five-month conflict between Japan, recently magically relocated from Earth, and the Parpaldia Empire, at the time one of the recognized superpowers of the New World and the most powerful nation in the Third Civilization Area.

The Parpaldia Empire has been rumored for sending at least one percent of its yearly national budget to supply the Kingdom of Louria with supplies and Wyverns. Ultimately, the plan failed due to Japan's intervention.

Following the end of the Japan-Parpaldia War, the damage the Parpaldia Empire suffered was catastrophic. Not only have they lost over 90% of their naval power, they lost all of their initial 73 territories that managed to regain their independence. The Parpaldia Empire fell into an economic crisis for the first time due to the massive reparation demanded by Japan and the Fenn Kingdom. They also suffered great casualties in the battles, killing about 600,000 people roughly because there will be a few more survivors.

Additionally, Japan decided to assist in the demotion of Emperor Ludius from an absolute monarch into a constitutional one, raising Kaios as the new head of government. For its economic sanctions, the Parpaldia Empire was not to receive any investments from Japan for several years.
Due to being previously identified as a superpower, the Holy Milishial Empire officially declared that the Parpaldia Empire would no longer bear the status as a superpower country, thereby conceding the title to Japan. The Parpaldia Empire was also permanently removed as the regular member of the Eleven Country Leadership Conference and in which Japan would also take their place.
The aftermath alone brings blessings in disguise to them as Japan not only experiences the first loss of a ship, Shikishima, but they also no longer need to assemble their fleets to fight during the New World War itself to answer to the World Union's call.
