Magic Anti-Aircraft Cannon is an anti-aircraft artillery that uses magical explosives to fire ammunitions. It sounds like an direct energy weapon by its name, but it fires solid ammunition. It was developed by several nations based on the data from Ravernal Empire ruins.

First Generation[]
- 1st Generation Ixion 20mm Anti-Air Magic Light Gun
This Ixion gun used by the Parpaldians was not made by them. It was smuggled from the Holy Mirishial Empire for research purposes. However, the Parpaldians failed to analyze it due to the complexity of the magic circuits. The said Ixion gun is not fuel efficient, has a longer reloading time and it has slower rate of fire due to it was equipped with older magic engines. During the bombing of Duro, its rate of fire is only 200 rounds per minute, but it is supposed to be 350 rounds per minute. It is also overheat easily and as it uses magic stones, it produces colorful flashy explosions that reveals the position of the gunner.
Second Generation[]
The gun has magic circuits that replaces the magic circle, making it less noticeable as the magic circle is no longer deployed when firing. But it still produces flashes.

Featured in the Volume 5 of the LN, they are mounted on Holy Milishial Empire's Mercury-class Magic Battleships.
Third Generation[]
- 3rd Generation Ixion 25mm Twin Magic Light Gun
Featured in the Volume 4 of the LN, it is mounted on Holy Mirishial Empire's Mithril-class Magic Battleships. Their performance seems to be poor as it didn't managed to intercept any aircraft of the Gra Valkas Empire.

Featured in Volume 5 of the LN, they are mounted on the Holy Milishial Empire Rodeus-Class Aircraft Carrier .

Cryseilis Holy Kingdom[]
The kingdom uses an anti-air weapon called the Anti-Dragon and Bird Continuous-Firing Magic Flame Cannon that is equipped within their flying warships. It can be used by the operator by putting magic power into it. It is capable of creating a huge number of barrages, but it is overwhelmingly slow compared to the same weapons used by the Holy Milishial Empire as well as its mechanical counterparts used by the Gra Valkas Empire and Japan. It is said to be an effective weapon against normal wyverns and Fire Birds, but ineffective against wyvern lords and Wyvern Overlords, and although it could shot them down, its accuracy has dropped dramatically.
It is said to have low magic consumption among anti-aircraft weapons for airships, but its use requires so much magic power that it could kill the operator's life, so it does not appear to be very user-friendly.

First Generation[]
- 1st Generation Ixion 20mm Anti-Air Magic Light Gun
Used by the Parpaldia Empire during the Japanese-Parpaldian War. When the Japan Air Self Defense Force proceeds to bomb the industrial city Duro, the imperial forces had decided to use it. It managed to hit one of the BP-3Cs of the JASDF but it didn't downed the plane due to the plane’s advanced armor and primitive firepower of the guns. The escorting F-2s saw the position of the Parpaldian Ixion and bomb it.

It managed to intercept a Gra Valkas imperial reconnaissance plane in the Battle of Baltica
