USS Mississippi of the US Navy, a steam warship. The Magicaraich Community operates similar ships. The Mu Navy was also a former operator of these ships.
Magic Paddle Warship is a warship that is owned and operated owned by the Magicaraich Community. In the past, Mu also operated the mechanical version of these warships. It uses paddle wheels, which make its performance better than a magic ship-of-the-line that is being used by most of the countries in the New World.
Description[]
Its appearance resembles the steamships that is once used by the nations from Earth during the mid-18th century. One example of this is the so-called Black Ships that was used by the United States Navy to force Japan open its borders in 1853. Since this is equipped with a magic engine, it doesn't have a stack that spews smoke. However, its magic engine is not powerful and efficient enough to serve as an offensive weapon (powers the magic cannons) and defensive equipment (magic shield generator), just like the ones used by the Holy Milishial Empire.
The basic design for the paddle-frigate is as follows. The ship is propelled by a pair of paddle-wheels, one on each side. For early models, the ship still has a main-mast with a sail, should the magic engine fail, but this added unnecessary weight and the sail plan wasn't very good. The side-by-side configuration was not a good design since it limited the amount of guns that could be mounted. Should one paddle-wheel fail, this would leave the vessel severely unbalanced in terms of maneuvering.
After the invention of the screw-propulsion design, countries like Mu abandoned the paddle-frigate design.

Magicaraich Community steamships combines magic technology and mechanical technology just like Mu. It is equipped with guns that has a range of 3 km, a kilometer farther than the magical cannons of ships-of-the-line used by the Parpaldia Empire. Furthermore, their magical steam warships are equipped with a single anti-aircraft gun, although its overall performance is poor.
Mu (Former operator)[]
Mu is a former operator of the mechanical version of these warships. It appeared during Minilar's recollections. When he was still a child, the passenger ship that were he was riding was attacked by a sea monster. A steam paddle warship, commanded by his father rushed to rescue Mu's cruise ship and repelled it by shelling.
Their armored steam warships are equipped with cannons that uses gunpowder instead of magic cannons because it was described as "a cannon using the power of science."

During the Battle of the Folk Strait, Magicaraich Community deployed their 7 magic paddle warships to repel the Gra Valkas Empire but all of them were sunk by Grade Atlastar.
Later, Magicaraich Community deployed 28 ships in the Battle of Baltica. Their flagship, the Barthelma, was destroyed by gunfire from Altair Dive-Bomber and sunk further by bombs. The other ships were destroyed by machine gun fire since it is only equipped with limited armor, especially the deck are not armored just like the early steam warships from Earth.
