Magic Signature Sensor is the radar that detects the flying wyverns. It was developed by Parpaldia Empire. Although it shares the same function, its name is different from that of the Holy Mirishial Empire.
Description[]
The magic signature sensor is a radar of sorts to detect incoming flying wyverns, and the detected wyverns are displayed on a monitor made of quartz. It had a wider detection range than the anti-air variants mounted on ships, and not only could it be used to detect threats in the air, but it could also be used to detect threats on the ground.
However, because of the difference between the magic technology used by the Holy Milishial Empire and Parpaldia (magic circuits and more elaborate magic spells were used by Holy Milishial Empire while Parpaldia is not), the Wyvern Detector can't detect small magic signatures like a mage using spells. Therefore, it is much inferior to the Magic Detection Radar of the Holy Milishial Empire.
Flying low to avoid radar detection seems to be widely known in other worlds, and the Altaras Kingdom is attempting to fly low with the Parpaldia Imperial Fleet.
Weaknesses[]
Though this device is able to detect sources of magical energy, it is virtually useless in detecting objects that do not emit magic, such as an Japanese fighters like the F-15J Kai and F-2. The Parpaldians could only watch helplessly as the signals of their wyvern forces were removed from their monitors with no indication of how they were destroyed.
