Second Civilization Area
Second Civilization Area is one of the Three Civilized Areas in the New World located on the west side of the world, consisting of the entire Mu Continent and its surrounding seas. It is in the waters west of this civilized sphere that the Gra Valkas Empire, another transferred country like Japan, is located
Description[]
The continent holds two of the five Superpowers of the New World, the second power Mu and the fifth power Leifor. Countries that are considered as Quasi-Powers are also found here like Nigrat Union and Magicaraich Community.
Technology[]
These countries are considered to have technological capabilities equivalent to early to mid 18th Century to early 20th Century Earth. Generally they are considered to be inferior to the First Civilization Area which is considered to be at the level of WW2 technology, but superior to the Third Civilization Area which is considered to be at the level of 18th century to early 19th century Earth, just before the start of the Industrial Revolution. Also, although most of the countries are magic-based countries, their understanding of science and mechanical technology is quite high than the other Civilized Areas due to the presence of the mechanical civilization Mu.
Economy[]
The Second Civilization is considered to be rich, as Leifor protected island nations such as the Paganda Kingdom and the Irnetia Kingdom, trade has flourished.
Chronology[]
Before arrival of Japan[]
The entire landmass of the Second Civilization Area once belonged entirely to Mu, and was transferred to the New World from Earth. Over multiple millennium, warfare between Mu and other inhabitants of the New World has caused the continent to be split up into multiple political entities.
Before arrival of Gra Valkas Empire[]
At first, it seemed like the relationship between countries were considered to be good and the situation was more stable than in the Third Civilization Area. However, the current situation went downhill as the Gra Valkas Empire arrived and managed to control Leifor, beginning to intimidate the surrounding countries.
New World War[]
Things took a toll for the worse as the World Union Army (lead first by the Holy Mirishial Empire) was defeated, and after the attack at Otaheit by the Gra Valkas Empire, the war had just expanded the towards the other Second Civilization countries. However, now with the help of Japan, the Second Civilization is beginning to push Gra Valkas out of the Second Civilization.
With the Liberation of Leifor having crippled Gra Valkas operations in its former colony, combined with the death of most of its soldiers, the continent is now very nearly completely free of foreign invaders.
