Japanese-Parpaldian War Arc[]
When the Parpaldia Empire made an unacceptable demand for the cession of the Siltras Mine and the enslavement of the princess, King Taara XIV angrily declared diplomatic relations and prepared to fight against the Parpaldia Empire's inspectorate. It was a bit hasty for someone who is in charge of the country, but in reality, Altaras's army has enough strength to win against an inferior inspection force and the plan was to aim for an early peace with that strength. However, from the description afterward, the Parpaldia Empire only wanted a pretext for an invasion that was based on the premise of complete domination from the beginning, and in reality, the Parpaldia Empire's superior forces would attack.
Therefore, even though he thought he was unfit to be a leader, he let his daughter Lumies escape to Japan and challenged the approaching Parpaldia Imperial Army to a tragic battle.
In the end, the armies of the Altaras Kingdom fragilely fell in three days due to the dragon armor tactics of the magic ships-of-the-line, wyvern lords, land dragons, and musketeers. King Taara XIV was engulfed in flames by a direct hit from a wyvern lord’s fireball, killing him.
