Triple Spirit Magic Cannon is a type of magic gun held by the Holy Milishial Empire. It is the latest model and is also equipped with two main guns on the Holy Milishial Empire state-of-the-art Mithril-class magic battleship. It has the largest caliber of 38.1cm (15 inches) among the magic guns owned by the country.
Description[]
It has a range of up to 34km, shorter than the main gun of the Gra Valkas Empire Orion-class battleship, but has a higher loading speed. Although it was only 38cm, it was fully effective against battlecruiser such as the Orion-class (equivalent to the Kongo type).
When the shell is loaded to the cannon, the cannon will be charged with a strong magical force that imbues the shell and propels it at the intended target. When the shell exits the cannon it will be covered with a blue magical force that creating a trail of the blue line in the trajectory. Finally, the shell will explode in a blue magical explosion when it hits a target. Since the spirit was blessed at the time of the launch, it is named "spiritual".
It looks a much ultra-SF specific competitive Mithril-class ship body, stealth turret mounted on and likely to shape even like a space battleship, the angular three of the gun barrel is divided from the middle up and down. Immediately before the muzzle, there are several large holes that seem to be muzzle brakes (muzzle suppressors) for suppressing recoil.
During the battle against Gra Valkas, the cannons are inferior in both range and firepower to WW2-era cannons used by Gra Valkas Navy.
Based on the analysis of Japanese weapon expert, the mechanism of the magic cannons is quite similar to railgun but since the magical cannons are fundamentally not a railgun so it is not worth for the Japanese to research deeply into it. Furthermore, these cannons lack the Fire Control System (FCS) of the modern naval guns of Japan, so they are extremely inaccurate. To compensate, a ship normally posses more guns and depends on firing volleys to ensure hits.
The composition, however, can be changed depends on how much firepower it can give to the target as the crew at Holy Mirishial Empire normally insert at least three elements (Fire, Sky, and Explosives) to the shell.
