Service History[]

The Type 90 was first employed when giving military assistance to the Qua-Toyne Principality. During the Pacification of Jin-Hark, the castle walls were bombarded by indirect fire by Type 99 155 mm Self-Propelled Howitzers, thereby forcing the castle's infantry and cavalry to venture forth to stop them. However, the armored knights proved to be no match for the heavy machine guns and 120 mm smooth bore gun of the tanks and were systematically mowed down.

It also showed its strength in the Parpaldia Empire's Invasion of Fenn when it destroyed the land dragons of the empire in the Battle of Coate Plains. Although the tank received only paint scratch from the magic cannons of the Parpaldian Empire, it easily destroyed the 32 land dragons along with the Imperial Ground Legion.

Later, they were being deployed to assist Mu by setting up ambushes at the entrance of the Hollow Mountains intending to cut off the 4th Armored Division's escape route.

Trivia[]

  • The Type 90 were only placed in Hokkaido in the 7th Division, because they were too heavy for urban areas, and were originally made to face the threat of the Soviet Union.
